Augusta Municipal Airport
Augusta Municipal Airport (3AU) sits just east of Wichita off of Highway 54/400 — close enough to the city, far enough from the congestion. With a 4,500-foot runway, a full-service FBO, and uncrowded airspace, it's one of the best training airports in the region.
Kansas averages over 300 flyable days per year. That means fewer weather cancellations, more consistent training, and faster progress toward your certificate.
